Regarding the Japanese star's remarks, this is the N time Jerry's name has been mentioned when some Korean/Japanese stars were asked which TW artist they want to work with/know, and it clearly shows Jerry's popularity in Korea/Japan since 2002.
Regarding the TW Apple Daily's news, if the information was released by the Tourist Bureau, I wonder how come only Apple was chosen to release the information? If I remember right, at the beginning, it was AC who mentioned that Jerry would get the highest talent fee, then Mr. Zhi came out and mentioned that all members would be paid equally and they would have equal parts in the drama as he claimed that each member's market price and demand in the market were the same, which is not true (for instance, Jerry's talent fee for each episode is NT$400,000 to NT$500,000 per episode when others may be NT$80,000 per episode).
Honestly, like Jerry, the talent fee won't be the main concern to me, if AC and FL really keep their promise of treating each member of F4 equally. However, from the cover of the newest F4 5-year anniversary album set, there is a high possibility that Jerry won't be treated fairly. Therefore, I don't see any problems if SJ just negotiates the contract based on Jerry's value in the market and sees this as strictly business. Whoever released the information concerns about talent fee and the main lead a lot, but not the script. Although I am happy that Jerry's market value is recognized, I don't see any good to him of releasing this kind of gossip at this time, except to create opportunity for some fans to scold Jerry, which has already started and the thread has had over 100 replies. I hope that it was not released by someone who wants to pressure SJ/Jerry for accepting some unfair terms in the contract. It will be unfair to Jerry when it is obvious that AC and FL will use F4's name to steal the show for their own artists and their own benefits, and at the same time ask SJ/Jerry to accept some unfair terms using his care for "F4".
other than the poor quality of AC's scripts, another reason why it won't do Jerry any good to work with F3/AC is the way AC/FL like to pressure Jerry/get what they want by releasing rumors and negative/untrue information in the media, and Jerry ususally chooses to keep quiet/not to exchange words with them, so not to ruin his friendship with F3. Remember how the fortune teller described Jerry's personality? "He has an honest and open work ethic. He is sincere and quite without affectation. He is the rare new good man. When he comes across a setback, he¡¦ll swallow the insult and own the responsibility. He does not drag down others and very rarely gets into conflicts with others. He suffers silently, and nobody knows his sorrows.
