Oral B Meet in Shanghai Tidbits

At 2 pm in the afternoon, we proceeded at the Oral B venue at the third floor of Westin Hotel, and waited for Ah Xu’s arrival.
At the stage is Ah Xu’s Oral B advertisement picture and at both sides have huge TV screens continuously showing behind-the-scenes shooting of Ah Xu’s TV commercial. At the entrance is a big standing picture of Ah Xu’s Oral B whole-body pose. Under the stage are 4 round tables and we immediately tried to find our best seats. At the back are media photographers with their cameras and reporters.
Before the program started, were informed by an Oral B lady that the program will have 4 parts:
1. Fans will go up the stage and ask questions with Ah Xu. Our answers should have something to do with Oral B. Winners of the best answers will have Ah Xu’s autograph as prize.
2. Just like in the HK meet, Ah Xu will come to each table to have talks with Ah Xu.
3. In every table, there would be group picture-taking with Ah Xu.
4. Finally, reporters will interview him
At about 3 pm, Emcee Hai Yan appeared. She called the 4 fans who will go up the stage to answer the questions. Chen Jia Jia also went up the stage to join. After the 3 JMs were called and asked, Jia Jia won and was allowed to stay on the stage. Hai Yan asked her about updates on the Chun Lei class. Soon after that, she held a toothbrush and smiled. We called her to have a good pose and we clapped our hands after she went down the stage.
On our way home, we talked about Ah Xu’s “Guo Dong (something old)” attire and we suddenly remembered: Did he already wore that in Nanjing, China during their Concert Tour Press Conference in 2002? How come he still treasures that? Moreover, it is already tight in his waist, making him look thinner. This boy nowadays keeps wearing simple clothes, cherishing his old self, one rare person! We know that Ah Xu is just being thrifty, but we rarely see you, why wont you just wear something fancy for us to look at, la? We all thought it’s too ugly but we wont allow him to hear that!
Hai Yan asked him several questions about his shootings in The Hospital, and about tooth protection (these are only internet and TV sources, not much rubbish) Then, Hai Yan immediately asked Ah Xu to come to each table and talk with the fans. Ah Xu went to the other three tables and forgot to come to our table so we called on the organizers. Only then, he was led to us but time was very short , only 1 minute. We asked him about The Hospital shooting, and he asked us if we had watched the trailer. Qinaixu volunteered to reply and said “We watch it every morning and again every night.” He happily said, “Really?” Without finishing what we would still say, he was pulled to leave the table.
Then, 4 fans were called to go up to the stage and play “Memory Game” with picture cards of the different Oral B toothbrushes and tooth product in pairs for which one should look for the right pair in covered cards. Finally, two groups won.
We didn’t feel it was already time to end when Hai Yan said, “ Finally, I ask club members to bring 3 questions” and I remember there was on JM who asked him if he would play as Chu Liu Xiang. Did he said it looks like it? He said he will talk about it later when he had studied the script, and also said that Chu Liu Xiang is his idol when he was still a child.. Upon hearing this, everyone laughed.
Those media are noisy laughing but our 4 tables are quietly watching Hai Yan and Ah Xu’s talking, also clapping at Ah Xu’s replies. But those media seats at the back had been vacant because they went in front as soon as Ah Xu came out at the stage, that someone even took our table and obstructed our view. Under these chaos, organizers had to cut short the event and even the earlier plan for a group photo was cancelled to start the media interview right away.
This time, reporters crowded the front area. The organizers asked us to leave now as reporters will now hold the interview. But how can we leave if we haven’t been in a group photo? We all requested the organizers and so they told us to wait outside until the interview is over and after that we can have the group picture-taking All of us obediently followed and left to go outside.
I and some Xu fans gently stayed at the back so we can hear the interview. Because we are far, we cant hear it fully, only some are clear, It has something to do with The Hospital and about their HK concert, F4, and Chun Lei class (now the club members are arranging Chun Lei Class Project Leader Chen Jia Jia to join them so that media will know that Ah Xu and we are making charitable deeds)..... Finally, we heard someone said the interview is finished. Ahxu and the rest also began to stand up to leave This time, we don’t know who raised the issue of buying so many toothbrush worth XXX to be able to join the event and Ah Xu could not totally answer because it ended already. But this child took a look on who asked that question and his answer is not clear, ( he said that it is company decision and his role is just to be a spokesman for events.) Then from afar, I heard him said he doesn’t wish we will spend too much money to support as we club members should instead make charitable projects. After that he bowed and said “Thank you” and immediately left the stage.
Impatiently waiting for the media to leave, we immediately began looking for Ah Xu’s staff after the interview and for the pictures. We waited for about two hours for Oral B organizers and SJ, as well as hotel people meeting to end. We went to the first floor to look for Ah Xu’s staff for the picture and saw many foreign hotel residents. We looked for the Oral B people everywhere, until finally we found them and agreed on dividing into 5 members per group who will each go up to the 6th floor for the group picture with Ah Xu.
I, Qinaixu, Jian Jian and Xuan Zi and also a JM from Cheng Du City arrived at Ah Xu’s staff room. We reached a small corridor and saw two men in a sofa. They offered to take our seats in the sofa and held on to our cameras. We saw Fenny coming out from the left door and Ah Xu moving out from the room. We were all well-behaved when we softly called him, and he said someone else will arrange to meet us. We will certainly be the ones to squat in front when picture-taking. How can we let our darling Shao Ye to squat ,ne? As he goes towards the sofa, I and Qiniaxu sat beside him. It’s truly a once in a lifetime dream to crowd with him in a sofa. How my heart jumped, am I still a regular guy?
At first I thought to hang on to Ah Xu’s Body but also gave up on this thought because it may offend him. Getting close to him this much is already a blessing. Watching him so thin, my heart can’t bear to hang on to his shoulder because this can bring him pressure
After the group photo is finished, We shook hand with Ah Xu. Aside from the staff, we informed him that we will be going to HK to see the concert to support him. He felt happy and smiled and I also faced him to say, “Ah Xu, you are working so hard.” When we faced him, he always looked sincere towards us and everyone. We really cant stand these kind of looks, we just cant help but to intently exert much support and love for this man.
Today is truly a happy day... seeing him again, having a group photo with him once more, shaking his hands again and also looking at his face at close distance, the more I see his face closer, the more it turns more handsome. Having chiseled chin and very straight nose, his face is really perfect.

That everyone should be concerned on Ah Xu getting his weight back
He smiled and said, “I'm healthier now. I got the most weight loss while shooting The Hospital, down to only 130 lbs but now I’m up at 140 lbs.
JMs said that he must put on some more weight.
He said: “You must also get fat again, e!”
“Rest for a month!” (I can’t remember whether Hai Yan or him who said that)
“OK!”
“Rest for three months!”
“OK!”
2. When he was just entering the stage, Hai Yan faced him and said, “Are they the club members...” Ah Xu also immediately said, “They are my family”
