Since MG 1 till now, a lot of people has felt that his acting career has been so smooth. But, actually, he also has a lot of depression that no one knows. So, today, we have invited him to our studio to talk about his inner world.

Jerry: Umm...

Jerry: I feel very familiar with Shang Hai.
Host: Coz you've come here very often?
Jerry: Not really because of coming very often but because I have often seen it in TV e.g. its situation, its scenery. In the movie, there are also a lot of scenes in Shang Hai. Sometimes, I feel that here is like my home.

Jerry: May I say something. I have just heard media friends telling me some stories about this event. I thank everybody using this method to support your favorite. But I really hope that everybody here will change your support to you idol to....errr...Like many friends who like Yan Cheng Xu, they gave a donation to the poor. Host: I remember that once in a concert, you said to your fans that "hope that everyone will not forget me". After that you had disappeared for about 6 months. During that period, you were trying to improve your musical skill, right?
Jerry: (laugh) I did not disappear. Actually, I concentrated in making music. Normally, if I do not appear in public, that means I am concentrating in doing some work e.g. at that time... for issuing an album. For me, a song album is very important. I would like to spend some more time on it. I do not want it to be like...somebody asks me to release an album, I just go for recording and promoting obediently. I hope that in the album, there will be...errrr. .the power of my own life.
Host: a spirit of you own?
Jerry: Yes. When listening to some songs, their lyrics have all gone through discussions among me and them at that time to see what I would like to communicate or....
Host: I remember there is a song in the album. You used to hum it when you sat on a step of the stairs during shooting a TV series.
Jerry: Errr...
Host: At that time, you had already started to prepare (yourself) for it. Had you prepared for an album for quite a long time?
Jerry: If possible, I hope that I can...
Host: You were not careful enough so it leaked out in the TV series.
Jerry: Really? I don't know.

Host: You have just talked about F4 Forever. You are going to have a concert soon, right?

That's why I said that I would like to improve myself. My strength comes from the great support from them. I would like to make them see...I feel that it is like....

Jerry: Maybe during Chinese New Year. During Chinese New Year, I arranged my house. When I arranged my photos, which were taken when first joining this career and presently. I found that it is so different. Maybe on mental aspect, including....
Host: You are not using the word "older", are you?
Jerry: Yes. That's the word I think.
Host: Really?
Jerry: I feel like that.
Host: Is it possible?
Jerry: It is.
Host: You feel that at that time you were so young but now.....
Jerry: No. At that time, I was still innocent and has not yet....experienced the complicated side of the entertainment circle. So, at that time, no matter with people or anything, I felt very happy.

Host: When you are very very angry e.g. when you saw an untrue news report, do you cry?
Jerry: Cry? No I don't cry. I don't cry. It is not that serious. It is not that serious. I just feel sad, feel painful in my mind.
Host: With your fame now, when you shoot a TV series, does the director give a credit to your current status? For example, assuming you have to act something but you do not act very well, will he let it go and not scold you?

Jerry: I remember that when I was young, when there was a girl making a telephone call to me, my mom would be very nervous. She would not like me to involve too much in the matters about girls. Do you understand what I mean?
Host: I understand.
Jerry: Yes. My mom has that kind of impression. Therefore, she feels that a guy should concentrate his mind on career. So, I have rarely heard my mom talking to me about girls. In the past, I used to bring my girlfriend to my house. My mom did not show any interest.
Host: Did she pull a face?
Jerry: No. No.
Host: No?
Jerry: But you could feel it. You could feel that she did not have any interest at all.
Host: I don't know whether I should ask or not. When your mom saw you and Sister Lin, Lin Zhi Ling, on the newspapers, which report that you both are together, being boyfriend and girlfriend, did your mom make a comment like this kind of girl was very good?

Jerry: Yes. Yes. When I had a toothache, I would told my dad. My dad would help me pull it out. As I remember, at that time, the pulling method was to wind a string round the tooth and pull the whole tooth out. So the pain was horrible. I think about it now, I still feel the pain.
