He sends a tactful rejection to America’s CNN. Management Company’s last response on the matter was to send the other members (F3) to accompany him on stage, this emboldens Jerry Yan.
CNN interviews Asia’s big stars, in the past years they have little by little added to the list of interviews after Takeshi Kashinero, RAIN and afterwards F4 has accepted “Talk Asia” interview on the 21st of March in HK. Originally CNN was most interested in Jerry Yan, early on they had already decided to agree to the interview but because Jerry Yan’s perfectionist nature he flares up because when Takeshi Kashinero accepted his CNN interview, he used perfect English to reply during the entire interview, this made Jerry Yan worry.
But accepting the CNN interview can help you jump and become the focus of the international arena, Jerry Yan with much difficulty refuses the offer. As a result the management company decides to send the 4 members. Among them is Zhu Xiao Tian who educated in Singapore, Vanness Wu who originally is an ABC; both of them can speak in English. In the interview they can help translate and let Jerry Yan’s mind be put at ease, however having an interpreter beside him can make him feel inferior! But ZaiZai has a different thought on the matter even if he has an interpreter at his side he made it clear that this doesn’t matter to him.
Yesterday, Jerry Yan arrived in HK, the other members are already in HK, manager Zhi Xiang Li expressed that originally CNN wanted 4 separate interviews but they don’t have that kind of “American Time” they could only arrange for the 4 people to be interviewed together, at present the two parties have agreed on this kind of arrangement. Mr. Zhi said that CNN thinks that F4 is Asia’s miracle wonder for them to be able to create an F4 whirlwind is very interesting, CNN also expressed that they will not ask questions on scandals and will let them have a relaxed tone.

About Jerry was invited by CNN for an interview
According to today's China Times, it reported as Jerry is so popular in Asia that CNN has been very interested in interviewing him, after Takeshi Kaneshiro and Rain's turns. However, according to the news, Jerry is afraid that his English is not good enough, so after CNN communicated with the agency (the news didn't say it was FL or Star Jerry, but I get a feeling that it was FL), it is decided that F3 will be sent to accompany Jerry for the interview.
In the news article, when F3's agent, Xiao Zhi, was asked about this, he indicates that CNN suggested to do individual interview with each F1, but "they don't have that kind of spare time", that's why they will do the interview as a group.
Anyway, F4 will be interviewed by CNN on the 21st in HK.
