LL: His father was my coach when I played basketball in college. His name was Li Tian. He established the first Pi Li University basketball team and he led the team to win the Champion of the College Basketball League. At that time, we were also called the Pi Li Five Heroes.

On Pi Li University's campus, as DFX and Lao Lu walked to the headmaster's office.
Li Zi Ping: Hi, Lao Lu, long time no see.
Lao Lu: Long time no see.
LZP: And this is?
LL: DFX, the only son of Mr. Dong Fang.
LZP: DFX, welcome to transfer here any time. It is a pleasure of Pi Li University.
DFX: But I like to say in advance. I won't play basketball any more.

YDY and Li Ying/W were walking on the campus. Li told YDY that she was sent to overseas by her grandfather at 9 Yrs. old. Then W clarified that she was not a player and she doesn't know how to play, as she had asthma since birth. Actually, she had a PhD and she was hired by NBA as consultant, as she had a talent to easily recognize a player's potentials. Her name, W, was referred by the foreigners as Win (kkla: her Chinese name, Ying, also means win). She continued pursuading YDY to join the Pi Li Team. When W questioned how's his basketball skills? YDY stated that he knew how to do slamdunk. Then YDY borrowed a basketball and tried to show his skills to W, but he waited and waited, and finally he told the people who rushed him that he would do the "Kang Long Bu Hui - Whirlwind style slamdunk. When he was about to shoot the basket, DFX appeared with Li Zi Ping and Lao Lu.

On the other side, DFX and his belongings arrived at the dorm. After he checked out the place,
DFX: Lao Lu, ask them to pack all the things back on the truck. We will find another place. It's too small here.

Li Ying and YDY found out that the basketball group's located at an unattended building. As they walked down to the basement, they found the only real member of the basketball team, Du Fei. DF indicates after the team was called Pi Li Five Dummies, the team was disbanded, and no teacher had been signed to the group. Even after YDY stated to join the team, with Du Fei and 2 hidden/ex-team members/brothers, Qi Xiao Yun and Qi Xiao Yu, they still needed one more member. They thought of DFX and YDY volunteered to persuade DFX.

YDY and Du Fei found DFX in the classroom. Du Fei introduced himself and invited DFX to join the basketball group. DFX didn't give him any response and Du Fei asked for YDY's help.

YDY: Wei, I...
(DFX pushed YDY's head in the gap between his desk and the chair in front)
DFX: Not interested.
YDY: Where is DFX?
(YDY caught DFX in the hallway)

Episode one - 01

In the court, YDY (Show) was getting ready to shoot the basket. In the court, DFX (Jerry) sat on the side and refused to play. It was the Champion game but Xuan Wu Team was 3 points behind. Wu Ji Zun (Wu Zun) and his brother, Wu Ji Wei, hid in the audience to observe DFX. Finally, after the coach begged DFX with his knees down, and swore that he would never attack him personally, otherwise, he would downgrade himself to teach in Pi Li University, DFX agreed to play and won the game. When YDY was about to shoot the basket, his grandmother found out, and chased him down the street.

After the theme song, YDY was scolded and slashed by his grandmother for playing basketball, as he was prohibited by his grandmother to play since birth. Then his grandmother had a heart attack and died in the hospital.

After YDY checked a box belonged to his grandmother, he found out that his grandmother was a famous basketball player when she was young, but due to some reasons, she prohibited YDY to play. In the letter she left, after she died, she allowed YDY to play, and asked him to find a man who will take care of his living and help him filfill his basketball dream. On his way, he accidentially dropped the baskeball left by his grandmother, YDY met WJZ and DFX for the first time, and showed his excellent jumping skill.

At the airport, Li Ying/W (Jiang Yi) was surrounded by the media and picked up by her father.

At DFX's home,
DFX's father: Xiang, regarding quitting current school, how come you didn't mention it to me?
DFX: Well, I am informing you now. I quitted my school.
DFX's father: So why is that? Did anyone make you unhappy at school? I am the Chairman of the School Board. I can take care of it.

WHO would have thought that the F4 series, “Meteor Garden,” will still rate very high when it was already shown twice on ABS-CBN? Apparently, the fans of Jerry Yan and company have not gotten tired of Dao Ming Su and San Cai so they’re now watching the series all over again, this time on GMA-7. It’s rating a very high 24 to 26 plus percent everyday at 6 p.m., even clobbering ABS-CBN’s “May Minamahal” in Sine Serye which was on its last week and yet, one day, rated only 8 percent. Starting Monday, Sine Serye will feature “Natutulog Ba ang Diyos” starring Roxanne Guinoo. Will she be able to put up a good fight against the F4? Let’s wait and see.

Takuya Kimura has a Radio show wherein he talks about his shows, live performances or even made some interlude for the fans, he even talked about F4's guesting on their show SMAPXSMAP. He said that the group F4 was very cute because after the show they even asked for a group picture and autograph from them.

Takuya even said: "After F4's portion was taped, I thought they already left, but after I finished taping the whole show, I was surprised to see Mr. Yan (there was a term Takuya used in addressing Jerry which is often used to call the elders) waiting for me. When he saw me coming he said: "Xin Ku le!" (literally means you've worked hard enough), then he said he was waiting for me to finish so we could have a picture together. Episode 14:

Mei Qian did not understand why Qing Cheng would ask someone to send a bicycle for Xiao Min. She feels that at the present time, with Xiao Min's condition, she is not suited to ride a bicycle. Mei Qian questions Qing Cheng and Ma Yi Fen's relationship. Qing Cheng expresses that it was not his idea to send a bicycle. It is the reporter who wants an exclusive story and wants to get to his good side through Xiao Min.

Qing Cheng angrily calls Yi Fen and tells her not to get involved with his family life. Yi Fen doesn't understand why Qing Cheng would get so angry over a bicycle that she sent. Qing Cheng explains about Xiao Min's learning condition and Yi Fen expresses her regrets.

Everyone plans a farewell party for Xiao Gang and hopes that he will be happy at his new job. At Xiao Gang's farewell party, Su Yi Hua gets really drunk because he keeps on thinking about the matter between him and Guan Xin. Wen Li takes him home after the party and Yi Hua pours out his heart to her. He keeps on talking and talking and takes Wen Li to be Guan Xin…

Guan Xin suddenly gets a call from the emergency room and says that there is a patient who is claiming to be her friend. Guan Xin rushes over and it turns out to be Hong Wei who is hurt. Professor Zhou carefully examines Hui Ying's remains and discovers that her heart is three times its original size. It is determined that there was a blood clot in her pulmonary artery which led to the expansion of the right ventricle of Hui Ying's heart. Huang Kai Yuan's expression becomes very serious. Outside, Mother Zhu insists on waiting for the results and so Hui Ting and Nian Wei waits with her.

The Zhu family decides to sue. Guan Xin decides to stand by Director Huang and asks the Zhu family to also name her as a defendant. Seeing how Guan Xin is filled with justice and loyalty and disregarding her own future, Director Wang's feelings are very confused.

Yi Hua goes to the office to look for Guan Xin. He finds out that the results of the autopsy are advantageous to her but Guan Xin still decides to become a defendant. Xiao Gang and Wen Li had a happy day together. Returning to the hospital, Wen Li has to work the night shift. Xiao Gang's words to her causes Wen Li's heart to be filled with emotions. She gives Xiao Gang a light kiss on the cheek and promises that when she has the time, she will go and visit him. Xiao Gang stands at the spot and waves at her, enjoying this happy moment. In the hospital, Wen Li is looking at the life-size bear - his gift, a feeling of happiness spreads throughout her body.

Zhang Jian requests to see his child. Mei Xing tells him about their baby's condition. Zhang Jian sadly hopes to be able to see his child. Mei Xing asks Su Yi Hua if he will be able to help them achieve this wish. In the intensive care unit, Qiu Qing Cheng informs them that their child's situation is critical but is not suitable for emergency treatment. Coming out of the operating room, Guan Xin sees Guan Hua smoking in the hospital and is extremely unhappy. Later Guan Hua buys a cake for Guan Xin and thanks Guan Xin for taking her in.

Tang Guo Tai tells Qiu Qing Cheng that he is showing him some mercy for just marking him a misconduct in his record as punishment. He wants Qing Cheng to stay away from Su Yi Hua and uses the promotion of becoming the Director of the Surgical Department to threaten Qing Cheng. Qing Cheng understands that in this hospital, each person must find his own way out; otherwise, it would be difficult for him to survive.

Deng Nian Wei takes the hospital's conciliatory letter to Mother Zhu and hopes that she will sign it. This way they can both divide the $8 million dollars equally. Mother Zhu feels that what she wants is not money but an apology. Nian Wei gets into an argument with Mother Zhu over the compensation matter. Later Deng Nian Wei returns to the Zhu home really drunk. Hui Ting angrily questions Nian Wei. In his drunken state, Nian Wei tells Hui Ting about his plans with Hui Ying for their future and the regret that he feels about losing Hui Ying.

Mother Zhu goes to the hospital to look for Director Huang and tells him that money is not something that will be able to solve the incident with regards to her daughter. Director Huang shows his sincerity but doesn't understand why Mother Zhu and Nian Wei have different opinions and requests, making this really hard for him. After a long talk between them, Director Huang expresses his apologies. Mother Zhu donates the $4 million dollars that the hospital gives her as compensation. Mother Zhu also goes to Guan Xin to thank her for her help.

Guan Xin goes to express her regrets to Director Huang over the Zhu Hui Ying incident. Director Huang expresses that it was something that is to be expected but he is actually very grateful towards Guan Xin. Because of this incident, it gives him the courage to face the fact that he is getting old and that it is time for him to retire…

Episode 8-13 summary of the hospital

Episode 8:

Director Zhao, Director Tang and Director Xu only finds out that Xin Ping has been moved over to the intensive care unit before the President's arrival to visit his daughter. Everybody is worried and did not know how to go about explaining the situation to the President. The President is extremely worried after stepping into the intensive care unit. Fortunately, Xin Ping is able to ease his mind and worry. Everyone promises that nothing will happen to Xin Ping while trying to urge the President to leave the hospital. They did not want to meet up with the reporters again. The President thanks everyone for their concern and care and sends his regards to the family members of the patients that are living within the hospital. Immediately afterwards, the 3 directors requested to see Qiu Qing Cheng to get an explanation. Directors Tang and Xu get into an argument again. Director Zhao threatens that if anything happens to Xin Ping, then they will both have no hopes of getting the position as Director of the hospital!

During the regular meeting in the Surgical Department, the whole atmosphere of the meeting is different due to Tang's mood. Even though Su Yi Hua is perfectly aware of the situation, he still speaks up against Tang. Tang Guo Tai's temper flares and after he gives a ruthless speech, he leaves the room in anger. In that instance, the entire room starts talking all at once but no one dares to talk to Su Yi Hua.

Tang Guo Tai takes his anger out on Qiu Qing Cheng and then he gets the bad news from Lai Cheng Xu which said that his "talk" with Guan Xin did not go as planned. Clenching his teeth tightly, Tang knows that he now must have Director Huang on his side. He tells Lai Cheng Xu to make sure that Guan Xin remains silent, unless she ruins their "plans."

Guan Xin continues to receive pressure from the hospital and as a result, she decides to go and consult a lawyer. After Lawyer Hong Bo Yan looks through the materials and questioned her on all the details, he evaluated that at this time, there are no grounds for them to bring a suit against Guan Xin. Even if they go through with an autopsy, Guan Xin still believes that there would be nothing to prove that she made a mistake.

Nian Wei is in the process of discussing with his followers on how to fight against the hospital when he meets up with Guan Hua and the two guys that she brings along with her. The two parties immediately get into a conflict and Guan Hua's side was beaten up badly!

Only Wen Li would accompany him to check on the patients and give them medicine. Because of this incident, Wen Li yells at Xiao Gang for being a coward. Later, even Chen Kuan goes to apologize to Yi Hua. They both understand the way Yi Hua works and his reasons but they also have their own difficulties. Yi Hua understands and forgives them. It's not that he doesn't understand "the way of life" within the hospital. Now that it has come to this, in his heart, he understands what is going on.

Yi Hua goes to find Guan Xin. He finds out that Director Lai rejected the medicine reports and refused to sign it because Guan Xin "did not cooperate." Yi Hua agrees with Guan Xin's decision to ask Hui Ying's family for permission to have an autopsy done but he is also worried about her safety. Actually, at the same time that he is coming to look for Guan Xin, Guan Xin is also thinking of going to look for him. They both arrange to meet up together after work.

This entire incident is being photographed by a far away camera. At the same time, in the Anesthesia Department, Guan Xin receives an email filled with Zhu Hui Ying's pictures. Ya Hui is helping Guan Xin open up a package that she received when the package explodes and the entire office is covered in a white powder which turns out to be flour.

When Director Huang is discussing with Secretary Yang about Nian Wei's motive and countermeasures for dealing with the situation, Guan Xin bursts right into the room. Seeing the state that the Director is in, she starts to tell them about what happened in her apartment and the letter and package that she just received. This indicates that what the patient's family members want is not just something that Guan Xin can take responsibility of anymore. She hopes to be able to have an autopsy done and get the facts straight. Director Huang still shakes his head.

Qing Cheng and Guan Xin are in a discussion and unavoidably they mention Su Yi Hua's problem again. Qing Cheng supports Guan Xin's proposal for an autopsy, because this would be fair to her but Yi Hua's situation is not as optimistic. Because no matter how the situation will develop into, Yi Hua has become a scapegoat and he has no chance of reversing the verdict. Guan Xin asks him to take care of Xin Ping and they both encourage each other.

Chang Yi Ru is getting extremely excited over Yi Fen's videotape of "The fire of revenge dyes the white gown blood red." She wants Yi Fen to immediately continue to pursue the entire story so that they can make this into an exclusive story and attract a large audience. Once this matter is complete, then the position of top news anchor will be no one else's but Yi Fen's.

In the surgical department, a plan is being carried out so that it would make it difficult for Su Yi Hua to work: when the hospital room is filled with patients in the surgical ward, Qiu Qing Cheng announces to everyone that they can start requesting for leave of absences. Yi Hua is worrying about Wen Li's progress with finding help. However, all the other people are stranded at Director Zhao's farewell party and couldn't leave. Tang Guo Tai and Qiu Qing Cheng's gaze are everywhere along with the silent battle raging between them and Xu Da Ming. This whole situation causes Yi Hua to feel dejected. If this continues on, he is afraid that one day he will be just like these people…

Episode 10:

Ma Yi Fen discovers the whole cause and effect on the red dye incident. She even finds out about the time when Guan Hua called on two guys to fight against Nian Wei and the fact that she has been arrested for using drugs. She feels that this is all connected with the anesthetist, Guan Xin. Chang Yi Ru wants Yi Fen to take this "suspicion," and make and create a big news article out of it.

Secretary Yang goes to Deng Nian Wei to attempt to explain the $8 million dollar compensation matter. However, all she gets out of it is lots of cussing from Nian Wei's followers. They think that the hospital is trying to settle this matter by throwing money at them and both parties part on bad terms.

Guan Xin pays a visit to the Zhu family. She attempts to convince them to agree to an autopsy so that they can find the cause of Hui Ying's death. Mother Zhu refuses and is filled with hostility towards Guan Xin. As a result, Guan Xin reveals that her apartment was broken into and that she received a flour bomb package. Mother Zhu doesn't know anything about this and can't imagine how matters have developed into this stage. Before leaving, Guan Xin asks them to reconsider getting an autopsy performed.

Guan Xin returns to the hospital. On the big television screen, the news is being broadcasted: It starts with Nian Wei carrying a coffin and protesting. Followed by Guan Hua accused of taking drugs and is a suspect for instigating harm to others. Everything is left to the audiences' imagination. Moreover, the picture on the screen is happening in a corner of the hospital. Guan Xin turns around and catches the attention of Ma Yi Fen. Yi Fen immediately runs forward and wants Guan Xin to explain her relationship with Guan Hua and her drug intake. Guan Xin coldly faces the camera and says that it is the police's work with regards to Guan Hua being a suspect of taking drugs. She refuses to say anything more and has a confrontation with Yi Fen. Without another word, Guan Xin leaves the hospital with the excuse that she needs to take care of some family matters.

Guan Xin goes to the police station and wants to bail Guan Hua out. She finds out that Guan Hua really did instigate to bring harm to others. Fortunately, Lawyer Hong finds out about the incident from the television and immediately comes to the station to discuss the conditions of Guan Hua's bail. However, the officer insists on taking down Guan Xin's notes first.

At the nursing station, family members are requesting for medicine. The nurse stalls them by saying that they must wait for Doctor Su. Wen Li promptly expresses that she will go and get the medicine and reprimands the young nurse at the same time. Later, when they are scheduling the work shifts, each nurse said that they have something important to do and must request vacation time. Even though Wen Li is angry, yet there is nothing she can do. At the same time, Xiao Gang sends her a box of cream puffs. Wen Li becomes even angrier after that. She didn't even touch the box of cream puffs and walks away.

In the Surgical Department, not only are the doctors but even the nurses are boycotting Yi Hua. When they get home, Guan Xin immediately questions why Guan Hua went to provoke Deng Nian Wei. Guan Hua thought that she was protecting her younger sister but Guan Xin asks her not to help out anymore. Guan Hua’s good intentions make it even harder for Guan Xin. Guan Hua lost her temper and runs into her room and didn't say anything else.

Soon after, Yi Hua rings their doorbell. He comes to take Guan Xin to dinner. Guan Xin goes to her room to change and Yi Hua notices the glass fragments that Guan Xin left behind in her hurry to clean up. In his heart, he is aware of what had happened earlier between the two sisters.

They step out into the crowded streets. Yi Hua is trying to think of what to eat when Guan Xin suddenly throws her arms around him from behind and starts to cry. He silently holds on to Guan Xin's hand and Guan Xin finally opens up her heart and cry.

At the nurses’ station, Yi Hua wants a nurse to help him find a medical record. The nurse makes up an excuse and leaves so Wen Li helps Yi Hua out. At this time, the emergency light from Zhang Jian's room lights up. Wen Li orders the nurses to wait and tells them no one is allowed to leave.

Episode 11:

Zhang Jian is experiencing internal bleeding and needs an operation immediately. Yet there is no doctor within the surgical department to help him. Wen Li immediately informs the operating room, Zhang Jian is wheeled in and Yi Hua sterilizes his hands. Yet the operating room is still not ready yet. Qing Cheng and Yi Hua hear the commotion from inside but they still did not stop what they were doing. Tang Guo Tai sees the situation and roars loudly. Qing Cheng calmly reports the progress of the operation and just continues on with the surgery as if nothing is happening. Tang is furious. A pair of leather shoes flies over the surgery table and breaks the X-ray box. Qing Cheng covers Xin Ping with the aseptic cover and he confronts Tang. Ming Zhu and the rest of the nursing staff pull Tang from the room. Coincidentally, Director Wang is right outside the doorway and he takes in Tang's awkward appearance.

Inside the Director's office, Director Wang questions everyone on Xin Ping's condition. Director Zhao pushes the responsibility towards Tang Guo Tai and Tang immediately points the blame at Qing Cheng and Yi Hua. Qiu Qing Cheng truthfully admits that he is the surgeon in the original operation and that it is also his decision to remove the Port-A-Cath. Because the situation was extremely urgent, that's why he didn't have a chance to inform Tang Guo Tai first. Tang takes advantage of the opportunity and pulls Xu Da Ming into this. He says that it is Xu's team that is causing all these problems. The two directors start arguing again and Director Zhao loudly interrupts them. Seeing Guan Xin in the dress, Mother Zhu immediately thought that she was Hui Ying. She holds onto Guan Xin tightly and starts to cry.

After spending this day together, Mother Zhu starts to understand Guan Xin. She finally thinks it through and feel that she should let go and let Hui Ying move on. At the moment when Mother Zhu signs the consent form for an autopsy, they were both feeling at ease and relaxed.

After finding out that Zhu Hui Ying's family has agreed to an autopsy, Hong Bo Yan goes to the Anesthesia Department's office to look for Guan Xin. He expresses that since the outcome of the autopsy will be an advantage to Guan Xin, then she would not need to get a lawyer. However, he can still provide assistance whenever it is needed because she is "rather special." Guan Xin feels that Hong likes her. Qiu Qing Cheng is in the process of taking care of Zhang You, whose condition has worsened when Tang Guo Tai asks to meet with him. Director Tang angrily blames Qiu for acting independently. Xin Ping's condition suddenly becomes urgent. Qiu Qing Cheng is in the process of giving her emergency treatment. There is a call from the house. It is his daughter, Xiao Min's birthday and they are asking him to go home. Guan Xin's attitude towards Yi Hua has changed. Their hug and kiss from yesterday seems like it has never happened before. They get into an argument in the hospital. Yi Hua doesn't understand why Guan Xin has changed so and Guan Xin tells him about the time when she has betrayed Yi Hua.

At the hospital, Guan Hua is telling the nurse about the difference between herself and Guan Xin. Guan Xin questions Guan Hua about her presence at the hospital. Guan Hua says that she has a surprise for Guan Xin. It turns out that Guan Hua bought a small refrigerator for Guan Xin but Guan Xin thinks that Guan Hua is just randomly spending money. Guan Hua expresses that Guan Xin never accepts her care and she is very disappointed.

Japanese fans are the most supportive for Jerry Yan

Nao Suzuki was once a board member of the SBS Technology Group. After she got married, she left the company, and formed a semi-conductor firm together with her husband in Japan. According to reports, her personal assets reaches $NT1.7 Billion. She lives in a high-rise Tokyo condominium, and occasionally goes to Japanese high-society gatherings. Yet, normally, she is very low-profiled, and does not like to go out now in front of the media.

Nao Suzuki has now broken her low-profiled image, because she is now famously known as Jerry Yan’s super fan. Episode 6:

Tang Guo Tai went to visit Director Huang. This is not the first time that Tang Guo Tai has looked after Chang Yi Ru so in the evening news that night, there is no broadcast of what went on at the meeting that morning. Guan Hua doesn't like it when she has to face Guan Xin's sadness and just wants to comfort her. Yet Guan Xin still has no appetite and couldn't accept her sister's good intentions.

Sitting in front of the television, Nian Wei and Liu Pang continues to change the channel. They were wondering why it is that they had the reporter at the meeting, but still couldn't find any news on what happened earlier. Liu Pang figures that they must have stopped the news from being broadcasted, and angrily decides that he will "make it worst for them."

At home, Yi Hua keeps on replaying the words that Guan Xin said to him: "Is it because she is the President's daughter that you must go and look after her?" At that moment, his cell phone starts ringing. Yet when he reaches it, the caller has hung up and there is no call back number. After that, he discovers another new email. Episode 7:

Seeing how Liu Pang and the others are about to rush forward, Yi Hua quickly drags Guan Xin away from the hospital. They get into a car, step on the gas and drive away. After getting away from everyone, Guan Xin still insists on getting out of the car. Yi Hua stops her and she finally quiets down and cries next to him. Yi Hua takes her home and tags along after her. They discover that the door is not closed and everything is in disarray inside the house. Yi Hua subconsciously pulls Guan Xin behind him. He looks into the bedroom and sees Guan Hua staring at the mirror which has "Blood for Debt, Blood for Revenge." Guan Xin stops her sister from calling the police and starts to wipe away those words written in red lipstick. Guan Hua decides to go out and look for friends for help. Yi Hua helps with cleaning up the house and accidentally discovers the small seashell on the bookshelf. Guan Xin pretends to be humorous and the atmosphere relaxes a bit. They both leave to go out to eat.

They talk about the first time that Guan Xin got drunk when they were in Hualien. How it was exactly like today when she keeps on saying thanks to him. At this time, a girl with long hair goes up on stage. She starts singing a familiar song from the time of their old school days together.

Yi Hua takes Guan Xin home in the heavy rain. He deliberately pulls Guan Xin close to his shoulder. They both appear to be stuck in that familiar moment. They talk about how they used to take the Number 32 bus and take each other home back and forth. A warm emotion lights up in Yi Hua's eyes. Guan Xin suddenly returns to reality and wants to escape. At this moment, that phrase still continuously rings in his ear. As Yi Hua is coming out of the bathroom, Guan Xin has prepared a blanket and pillow for him in the living room. In order to get rid of the awkward feeling of facing each other in their pajamas, they start drinking red wine. The atmosphere returns to their cherished memories once again. Yi Hua's eyes starts getting the warm glint again when Guan Hua enters the apartment drunk. Guan Xin helps her sister into the bedroom and evades the topic that she doesn't want to discuss with Yi Hua.

Deep in the night, Guan Xin still couldn't fall asleep. Through the door, Yi Hua expresses the words that he has not been able to say to Guan Xin: No matter what happens, he will be by her side, hope that they can continue to live happily together. Lying in bed, even though Guan Xin didn't reply but the tears that are falling from her face is like the rain that is falling down the window outside.

Episode 1:

Su Yi Hua, a doctor in the Surgical Department hurriedly arrives at United University Affiliated Hospital. He finds out that the Director of Internal Medicine, Xu Da Ming, is looking for him. Ge Fu Hong and Angie Chai join hands for F4 idols in a project to make them Taiwan’s tourism ambassadors. The tourism office also allotted an 85 million budget to promote “ a media plan for Korea and Japan international promo” where F4 will shoot Travel advertisements and also to film a 20-25 episode long idol drama. According to reports, F4 will immediately take away more than $40 million just for this project alone.

Yesterday, Angie Chai indicated, “ F4 unites as Taiwan’s Tourism ambassadors, and I will be responsible on proposing for the drama part. Other ads, pictorials and other related activities will be handled by elder sister Ge to plan. Regarding the division of the talent fees for F4, filming expenses will be already be about 10 million, so I have to look for other sponsors for the project.” Presently, the drama title and story is not been settled yet, and the initial proposal was to make it a song and dance drama presentation.

As of now, Jerry’s present talent fee per episode is $500,000, Zai Zai is $480,000, Ken is also $480,000 and Vanness is $400,000, so just for the talent fees of the four is already sky high. But the four now belongs to different management companies. Jerry has gone solo flight, and his manager and consultant Jing Yi Peng said, “I don’t know what plans for the drama parts are, and details must be discussed again, la!”

Tourism office expressed that these proposals for the travel promos will be inside a one-year contract. It would require completing a 20-25 episode video collection which will be aired in Japanese and Korean major TV channels. Taiwan’s eight major tourist spots National Palace Museum, Taipei Financial Center 101. Sunmoon Lake, Ali Mountain, Jade (Yushan) Mountain, Love River of Kaohsiung City, Kenting Nature Park and Taroko George National Park, will be featured, with its 4 major features like good food, night market, 24-hour available travel, and the friendly, courteous and hospitable people of the country,. At present, the Tourism Office is popularizing at the South East Asian regions, and invited A Mei as spokesperson with a budget of $70 Million.

The Hospital Director helped bone cancer victim Ah Zhe’s wish to film a drama. Yesterday, Ah Zhe arrived at “The Hospital” book signing event to convey his thanks. Ah Zhe, through the "Make-A-Wish" Foundation and The Hospital linked together to fulfill his dream to film a drama. Cai Yue Xun specially changed the script to add Ah Zhe’s drama part. At that time, he went with the drama group at the Nantou mountains to do a two-day and one-night dream travel, and to be with Janine Zhang in the drama. Xui Ji Kai watched him not giving up, and both said that Ah Zhe was fairly weak during the shooting. Now he is much healthy, and also fat. Not long after Ah Zhe finished the filming, he immediately underwent an ankle surgery.

On the 29th of this month at the KBS Hall, Seoul, Korea, the drama circle will conduct a new search in its “Seoul Drama Awards 2006” night. During this night, a lot of famous Korean stars are expected to attend, and two heavenly idol group members Taiwan’s Jerry Yan of F4 and Japan’s Kusanagi Tsuyoshi of Smap will bump heads, who will also become the center of attention in the whole venue.

Seoul Drama Awards search started this year, and because three of the biggest TV networks of Korea jointly sponsored this event to promote Korean TV serials and export them to other countries, it will hold its first screening on the 27th before the final performance night. F4 will unite once again, this time it is to promote tourism for Taiwan. Beginning of the year, Ministry of Communications Tourism department invited various tv stations to nominate. GTV proposed Barbie Hsu & Luo Zhi Xiang while Angie Chai appointed F4. In the end, F4 was voted & chosen to become ambassadors for Taiwan's tourism.

Ever since Jerry set up his own company, it is rumoured that F4 will not get together as a group for the time being. However, tourism board will gather the 4 of them, with a budget of NT90 million for this project. Spokesperson for Ministry of Communications stated, they had invited Zhang Hui Mei to endorse in the past to attract the South East Asia market. This time, they will work with F4, and F4 will be guest at a concert held at Zhong Shan Zu Qiu Chang.

However, there are news that for this project, besides inviting F4 to be ambassadors, the 4 of them will act in a drama series. The drama will be filmed at famous sites in Taiwan such as Taipei 101, Gu Gong, Ah Li Shan, Ken Ding, Yu Shan etc. Tourism board hope that this project could counter the influence of Korean drama series. Once this project is announced, Japanese & Korean film companies has shown interest. Angie Chai has confirmed that they are discussing with the authorities and are preparing the proposal. She was the one assigned to place and arrange the contents of the complimentary The Hospital paper bags given to fans - 1 Tshirt, 2 postcards, 1 photobook. She also helped in putting up the place cards on the audience seats for the cast.

Next work was to arrange the flight of the cast down to the escalator towards the lobby in the red carpet. First batch to go has Xui Jie Kai, Second batch were Jerry , Janine and Cai Yue Xun. Jerry was very funny. When he was holding the escalator handle he said that the red carpet is all full and plays with it. She shouted (it was so loud that she felt really embarrased) at Cai Yue Sun to follow that "very handsome man." Her sister and cousin all agreed that even when Jerry is yawning, he is still very handsome.

That Mr. Jpan had bid in all items was had always lost. Later, Tao Zi and Jerry also joked a bet that Mr. Japan will finally get the prize. Everyone all thought that Mr. Japan was the one who liked Jerry. But when he got his prize, he showed he was really nice that he bet for his wife. and everyone got so envious. and later assisted his wife to the stage to take pictures.

After the program, they were already arranging the stage and the checking the seats, when suddenly everybody was shocked because they saw a very nice obstruction sitting in her seat in front of Xu Si's. She thought how should she take him out? In addition, he was continously resting, not even moving. So they called some fans for help. Finally, it was good thing that he was reconciled with friends. He was Jerry Yan.

Next is the press con. The staff were surprized to see that Leon Dai already changed his clothes to leave. Jerry also said that he would also want change his clothes then, that everyone laughed. So Leon and his assistant decided to go change clothes again.

oh thanks kkla for helping me out....

port a catheter insertion isnt a new nor an old procedure. i think it was clever to make Dr. Su an expert at such a procedure. coz he is at the perfect age to be an expert at it. Thanks to Yana again... i found out he published a paper on it with 1000 subjects. wow.... these procedures though they say its easy... but it really isnt as it is a vascular surgery and these require good skills and training. The forte of Dr Tang's generation is on general surgery... like exploratory laparotomy (like the first case he handled). Dr Qui's generation are probably into biliary procedures i.e. whipples procedure (attaching intestines with other organs like the stomach).... and dr su's generation are more into detailed procedures.... with subspecialties. well... i guess the president does not know these things as he is old too. poor him.

Dr. Su was the youngest Professor in the department/hospital.? Dr. Qiu (Dai Li Ren) was his superior and Dr. Tang (Wu Meng Ta) was the head of the Surgical Department. Dr. Su was a pure, sweet, naive, and compassionate surgeon who chose to focus on his patients' well beings, instead of being involved in power struggle in the hospital.

At that time, the Executive Director of the hospital was about to retire, so Dr. Tang, the Head of the Surgicial Department, and Dr. Xu, the Head of the Internal Medicine, were both fighting for the position.

The story started with the President's daughter, Liu Xin Ping (Saya), who was about to receive the 2nd round of chemotherapy, was admitted to the hospital for implanting a "Port A". Originally, she was referred to Dr. Xu and Dr. Xu tried to go behind Dr. Tang's back and recommended Dr. Su for the surgery, as Dr. Su was the expert in implanting "Port A". According to Dr. Su, others surgeons didn't give a **** on this kind of small surgeries, that's why he had got a lot of experiences, and he had even published a research article in the professional publication.

At first, although Dr. Tang knew about what happened, he didn't mind as he thought that it was only a small surgery, but later, he was reminded that this opportunity would benefit his being the Executive Director in the future. That's why he decided to be Liu Xin Ping's attending physician himself during her hospitalization, to ask Dr. Qiu to perform the procedure, and to exclude Dr. Su from the surgery. Dr. Tang attended the press conference afterwards and claimed all the credits. Dr. Su didn't mind about the credits part but he was very concerned about his "previous" patient.

After the surgery, Liu Xin Ping had a fever of 38 degree. Dr. Qiu thought that it was just a common symptom after surgery, but as Dr. Su was the expert and he knew that possibly it was due to something more serious.

During a meeting for discussing the fever, Dr. Su was invited to attend by Dr. Tang. Dr. Tang used Dr. Su to point out the problem (the current location of Port A might lead to serious blood clog and he recommended to relocate the Port A). Of course, the surgeons didn't agree as they didn't want to admit their mistake and they thought that Dr. Su's recommendations were based on his patient being stolen. Dr. Tang knew the problem but he didn't push for a second surgery as he wanted to take the risk and see whether the problem would get worse. If it would, he wanted the surgeons to take full responsbilities, and then he would help amend the problem at that time, and claimed the credits.

For Dr. Su, all his focus was Liu's well beings. That's why he kept monitoring Liu's situation, although she was not his patient any more. In one scene, he secretly visited Liu and Dr. Qiu saw him when he came out. That's when he was scolded by Dr. Qiu. After that, he was not allowed to visit Liu any more. In last night's episode, he got a call from Liu and he knew that Liu's situation didn't improve, so he rushed to the hospital but he was blocked outside.

Interestingly, Dr. Su had received two emails from an anonymous sender to inform him about the time change of the first surgery and Liu's worsened situation.

On the other hand, Dr. Guan was an anaesthetist. Dr. Guan and Dr. Su attended college at the same time. They seemed to have some kind of romantic involvement then. When their relationship was about to start, Dr. Su needed to serve the army for two years (in TW, medical students need to serve the army right after completing medical school and before being a resident physician). While Dr. Su was serving the army, Dr. Guan left him without explaination, but Dr. Su didn't forget her at all. That's why in episode 1, Dr. Su made some cookies for her and tried to comfort her in the elevator after the incident.

What incident? When the Executive Director of the medical school, Dr. Huang?? (I forgot his last name), who had not performed any surgical procedures for quite a while, performed a minor procedure on a female patient's uterus, the patient died in the middle of it. Although the reason was still unknown, in order to protect himself, the Executive Director of the medical school wanted Dr. Guan to admit that it was her fault. Dr. Guan refused to do so. The family of the patient refused the NT$100,000 from Dr. Huang??. Instead, the family asked for NT$8 millions as compensation and the patient's mom wanted a reason for the patient's death.

In last night's episode, Dr. Su was misunderstood by a lot of people thinking that his care for Liu was because she was the President's daughter. Even the woman he loves, Dr. Guan, misunderstood him when he asked her to pay more attention to Liu in the canteen, as Dr. Guan usually teamed with Dr. Qiu and she had the position to visit Liu. At that time, Dr. Guan was under a lot of pressure because of the incident herself, she said something very hurtful to Dr. Su. That's why Dr. Su was seriously hurt and he said, "Sorry, forget about what I said."

After he took a shower, the 2nd email from the anonymous sender arrived to inform him about Liu's worsened situation. Then he rushed to the hospital again.

Jerry's charms is irresistable! For the Premier of his lead role drama "The Hospital", up to a thousand fans from all over Asia specially came to Taiwan and packed themselves in at the Taipei Internatiional Conference Center. When fans personally saw Jerry at close distance, they started to scream and went out of control. Also, there were some fans who needed to give excuses to host Tao Jing Ying for not clapping thier hands to other artists!

CTV's 8 pm serial "The Hospital" will be shown on the 15th, and today, at the "30 hour Famine" Charity Preview Screening, fans from Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand travelled thousands of miles just to come. The Japanese, who were about 200 people, were the biggest crowd among the fans.

Although the Indonesians were not much, their " Shi Nai" was a winner among the fans. Together with Koreans, Thais and Filipino fans, clad in their individual colorful costumes , using their traditional national attires, struggled to fight for glamor, and held hand sign cards with the "XU" charcter in every card, to attract their idol's attention. Aside from fans, Asian-wide media also fought each other for coverage.

The Preview Screening unfolds at the red carpet. Not just like the ordinary red carpet , The Hospital red carpet is" from top to bottom." Jerry with Qian De Men, Zhang Guo Zhu, Liang Xiu Shen, Zhang Fu Jian, Leon Dai, Janine Zhang, Yao Dai Wei, Xu An An, etc;, as well as Director Cai Yue Xun walked from the top 2nd level escalator of the International Conference Center down to the 1st level lobby to meet the fans.

Tao Jing Ying called the four senior supporting cast Zhang Guo Zhu, Liang Xiu Shen and Zhang Fu Jian as the "First F4" . When Zhang Gue Zhu introduced himself, he said, "I'm Papa Zhang Zhen. I wont say much introduction, young people dont know me. "

Soon after the Preview, Jerry was left to stay at the stage. Just seeing him enter, there were already continous camera bulbs flashing,and even much longer laughter and applause. After the preview, the Charity auction was held. Auctioned off was Jerry's designer brand doctor's jacket, ID card and stethoscope used in the drama, and fans has returned with warm cheers. All proceeds will go to the World Vision organization.

The Jerry Yan Official Fan Club Gathering was a success. According to fans, there were over 1000 fans from TW, HK, USA, Canada, Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Japan, Malaysia, and even Mainland China (Please note that most ordinary people still can't travel freely between Mainland China and TW). Jerry wore black shirts and pants, with a white jacket.
At the entrance, fans got their Starjerry ID Card, SJ uniform, and a mouse pad as souvenir. While they were waiting in the hall, TH teasers, preview clips, TH behind the scene bonus, Mia cm, and Mia behind the scene bonus were shown continuously. Then TH's theme song sung by Jerry was also played.

After Jerry came out, he firstly greeted fans from different places. Then he introduced the Jerry Yan Official Website - Starjerry.net to fans.
After that, Jerry played the first game with five lucky fans (They are from Mainland China, Japan, TW, HK, and Korea). The five lucky fans were chosen after some eliminations. At the beginning, all the fans were asked to stand up. Then they were told, "The ones with hair longer than Jerry's, please sit down", "The ones without hand/neon signs, please sit down", "The ones with glasses, please sit down", "The ones on row 1, please sit down", "The ones who are not wearing any Mia's jewelry, please sit down", etc.... At the end, only five fans were still standing up. These five were the lucky ones who could play the first game with Jerry. The one who won the game got a necklace as price which was worn by Jerry at the time of activity. The winner got to take it off from Jerry right there and then.
Then it was the second game. Jerry turned his back facing the fan and his SJ ID Card (No.SJ-TW000001) was hidden under a fan's chair. He needed to walk around to find it based on the volume of fans' applause.

Then it was time for Jerry to take a rest and for the lucky draw for fans who had purchased some products from the Mia counter at the location.
After a break, Jerry took photo with fans at each section.
The last, are you ready? Fans got to go on stage and to shake hands with Jerry. In addition, each of them was allowed to talk to Jerry briefly. When they talked to Jerry, a lot of them told Jerry where they are from. A lot of Japanese fans had tears of joy.
When it was the turn of the fans from Mainland China, after Jerry knew that they had reported the gathering live using a cellphone through yanchengxu.net's chat room, he greeted other fans in Mainland China by talking on the phone.

According to fans, Jerry's photo on SJ's ID Card is very handsome (kkla: Hoho, can't wait to see mine). The clothes worn by Jerry (when filming TH??) were also shown at the site. Both fans from Japanese and Philippines put on their cultural wear.
When fans finished shaking hands with Jerry, there was a camera set up outside for fans who want to leave a message to Jerry.

According to Xiao Yu, Dong Pei Da Jie (from Mainland China) joked with Jerry, "We are leaving on the 18th. Why don't you send us off at the airport?"

Am1997 (from TW), the other webmaster of nbbbs' Jerry Harbor Board, asked Jerry, "Will you film any new drama this year?" Jerry answered, "Yes! Yes!" 97 asked again, "I mean this year?" Jerry said, "Dui ah! Dui ah!" However, 97's group is pretty skeptical about it.

Zhang Jun Ning fell in love with Jerry Yan, Tries to forget it through writing a thesis

While filming [The Hospital], Janine is the love interest of Jerry wherein they encountered many obstacle, outside filming, she also fell in love with this cute guy, she knows they can’t be together, after the shooting has finally ended, she relied on writing thesis and slowly recovered from that feeling.

Zhang Jun Ning and Jerry Yan have many intimate scenes in this series, to be able to work out their feelings for each other, Director Cai insisted on shooting their intimate scenes as the filming of the whole series comes to an end. There was a scene wherein they were filming for the parting scene, may were touched by Zhang Jun Ning’s acting: [ The tears kept on flowing, I don’t have to force my feelings and I began to get the right act into the scene, in the end I found out, I was already falling for him.]

Zhang Jun Ning said that after the filming of the whole series, she wasn’t able to get over her feelings for Jerry, there was one time, while sitting on a train going to school, she looked over the window and tears started to roll down, [While filming, whenever I see Jerry’s bright and sunny smile, I was reminded of my ex-boyfriend, my heart would hurt a little bit.] Zhang Jun Ning said that she was afraid that she couldn’t get out of this feeling, in the end she changed her focus and spent 2 months writing every important part of her life in her graduation thesis.

Two nights ago, after the Presscon of The Hospital, Jerry Yan and his assistant rode a taxi to meet Director Cai and his wife at Yong He Residential, but because he's being followed by the paparazzis, he asked the cab driver to reroute for almost half an hour. The cab driver was a little bit scared because of the cars trying to get near his cab. Jerry said not to panic and do not beat the red light, just drive with care. In his panic, he suddenly parked his cab on the street and took a leak. This surprised Jerry and his assistant being left behind by the driver. Then, some 4 cars began honking because the cab wasn't parked properly. Due to this, Fenny had to drive away the cab so the other cars can pass through. In this situation, Jerry left a sour-smiling face as fenny drove the cab. AFter that he was able to reach his destination, still being followed, he ended his exciting cab experience with a big smile and hi to the paparazzis as the elevator door closes.

In another article, it was mentioned that Jerry told Director Cai that some cab driver pulled off while in the middle of the chase with the paparazzi and took a leak first before driving him to his destination. This also made a commotion within the neighboorhood of Yong He Residential, a few police and o-ba-sang (old ladies) were nosing around.

The cab driver was interviewed also and he said he was given 1000NT but the meter only had 400NT. Then he said not to take shots of him because he was just asked what to do and he doesn't have anything to do with his customer.

"Bao Long" Jerry Yan had always remained low-profile, and also knows really well how to avoid reporters and photograpers. But the other day, he didnt get cautious enough, all because the Uncle who carried his taxi escaped to take a leak. As he and his assistant stayed inside, the two were scarely horrified like a tree chicken, but Jerry became even more scared when his female assistant immediately went down and desperately played as the driver, that allowed many groups of reporters fighting their way to get pictures be shocked at this "mavelous sight.". But, under these circumstances, Jerry was totally alarmed and also had to cover himself with a bitter smile!

The day befor yesterday (7th) Jerry was at the Regent Hotel and attended "The Hospital" Press Conference. After the event, Jerry and his assistant took a taxi later in order to avoid the reporters and photographers from following them. Then, Uncle driver continously circled around in the nearby alley, intended to throw off the numerous media following behind them. The driver even made a right turn while the light was still left, and his coordination with Jerry was rather high.

Jerry and the media car chase went for about 30 minutes and suddenly, Uncle driver slowed down towards the side to a nearby toilet, with Jerry and his assitant as the only ones who remained in taxi. This time, all the media reporters who had been following them all along , got off from their vehicles and hurriedly went towards Jerry's taxi and took pictures. His assiatnt felt worried and took hold of the driver's seat to drive away, letting on-lookers see Jery in a funny scene like this. Also, their original plan to completely cover off had become a big readily exposed glittering white teeth smile.

After Uncle driver returned, the two directed the driver to go to a residential building in Yong He. With the original $400 taxi fare, the female assistant paid him $1000 and told the driver to keep the change. Then, they immediately got off the taxi and Jerry proceeded to the building. Finally, as the elevator opened, Jeery waved his hands to the reporters showing his wishes, and to just finish off these disturbance scenes. Soon after, Director Cai Yue Xun arrived for the meeting, and had not thought of the many flashing lights that led neighbors to come and take a look. Even the police also rushed to came in, thinking it was trouble, as whispers spread, believing a homicide occured.

Jerry's manager and consultant Jing Yi Peng said that Jerry and his assistant Fenny beside him already tried to calm down the driver but Mr. driver has evidently had not encountered this kind of battle, so he somewhat panicked along the way and failed to take action. Fenny then added, " You are driving well, just dont get nervous. As long as we had not violated anything, then we're okay. "

But the driver was still scared, and in the middle of a wide road, he abandoned his car to escape and take a leak. Jerry and his asstistant were shocked when they realized it. The assistant had to take the driver's seat to move the taxi to the side. Although Jerry was very scared, he just laughed out everything, and thought that the scene was pretty amusing.

With regards to Bao Long's assistant, she only had an ordirary driver's license. But in driving a taxi, the Taipei Traffic Group said that if they will check and found out, it is a violation of the Trafiic Regulations No.22 "Steeping in to drive", which will be fined with $1800 but not more than $3600. Moreover, because she only have an ordinary driver's license, it would be impossible for her to show a business permit, and is bound again to violate section No. 36 " No Police Business Registration" and will again be fined from $1500 but not more than $3500 in penalty fees.

Some pointers on the 5 newspapers:
1. Apple Daily focused on the dirty talk with Jerry Yan, although it was quite funny, I don't see the point of publishing it without even talking about The Hospital itself. Summary of that paragraph is that the reporter asked if THE HOSPITAL will include the "Tumor operation scene" then Jerry answered: "Are you talking about Da BAo's tumor?" then Leon Dai Answered: "It won't fit the screen" then Jerry answered: "Is it...?" *Sorry I can't explain but it's a green joke* and a humorous one! Ang kulet pramis!

2. When asked about LZL, Jerry Yan didn't respond but turned to Leon Dai and puts his hand on his waist, then he told Leon Dai: "Wrap your arms here" Then Leon Dai reluctantly wrapped his arms around it, both playing "brokeback"... hahaha... ang kulet!

3. Jerry also mentioned that he and Leon Dai also spend time like "men's talk", he jokingly replied that he usually went to Leon Dai's wooden house... then one reporter said: "didn't you spend the night there?"

4. Jerry also said that he wouldn't mind being compared with Leon Dai and he liked being compared and felt proud about it. Because it would give him a chance to learn more and improve. He also mentioned that he became mature with his role in The Hospital, he felt that he aged another 10 years because of the intensity of this series. There's one newspaper (Min Sheng Bao) which concluded the love affair of Jerry Yan and LZL, then after I read the other newspaper, I saw how twisted that article was because the reporter just got a line from what jerry said about not to insist an affair that cannot be continued...and there were things that went in the way during those times... through these words, this newspaper concluded the love affair that both of them were in love but is history.

When I read the other newspaper (United Daily News), Jerry was discussing the shooting of The Hospital depresses him and about the betrayal of Guan Xin with Su Yi Hua, he said: "It's really difficult while in the middle of filming, there were things that went in the way during those times, while acting as Su Yi Hua, I felt that many of his sad experiences are similar to mine." Before, he was also betrayed and he expressed: " I was really hurt, and I tried to bring it back, but then I understood that you cannot continue insisting a love affair."

6. Acting along with Leon Dai, Jerry expressed: "Having to act with Leon Dai, his charisma is unbeatable, many of the girls I met says he's a very good artist, I was really scared, but I learned a lot from him." Then Jerry expressed that he is afraid of injection and blood, he also said that when he was small, his dad used to inject him when he was sick, so it made him scared.

7. Leon Dai's role in this series is the bad guy, he has an affair with Yang Jin Hua, some intimate scenes for both are the ones on the table, inside the car and inside the hotel's couch and floor, Yang Jin Hua even said that she fell in love with him at once! Jerry Yan teased Leon Dai and said: "That is the reason why Da Bao Ge (Leon Dai) accepted this role, you gained a lot didn't you?" Leon Dai kept his smile and said that Jerry's role only talked about a simple love affair, he is responsible for the rated and dangerous love affair lah!

8. Zhang Jun Ning and Jerry Yan are not that close outside filming The Hospital, but when the "kissing scene" was shot, Zhang Jun Ning revealed that she felt that Jerry's a very romantic guy, this surprised Jerry and said: "Really?" (whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa... really!!!)

9. Jerry's in a good mood while being interviewed, he even joked around and told another story about a staff, he overheard this staff say that when he puts his face beside Fei Xiang, he would look like a butt, so from then on, Jerry got used to calling that staff--"the butt".

In connection with the post below me on the tight guarding of the materials in the upcoming CTV 8PM drama "The Hospital", there is a big possibility that the satellite feed of the said domestic television station from Taiwan could be blocked to viewers outside of Taiwan.

Regional viewers got a first taste of censorship in pop idol dramas of a magnitude like "The Hospital" only last year, when Taiwan's cable programmer San Lih Television (SET), blocked feeds of the first run of its pop idol dramas "Mr. Fighting" featuring 5566's Tony Sun and Zax Wang, and "The Frog Prince" featuring 183 Club and Ming Dao, with Joe Chen carried by TTV, and in turn by regional satellite TV provider C-Skynet.

Both "Mr. Fighting" and "The Frog Prince" registered above 6.00% average TV ratings that time, which prompted the satellite provider that carries to block the signals of the two shows for copyright reasons. After the two shows though, it did not censor anymore its subsequent programs like "Green Forest, My Home (Leon Williams and Esther Liu of Sweety)" and the recent Sunday night blockbuster "The Magicians of Love (Ming Dao, Sam Wang of 5566 and Joanne Zhen of Sweety)".

Several countries, including the Philippines (via ABS-CBN), have already bought rights to "The Hospital" way in advance, and this has increased the possibility of a signal block for the show's first run in Taiwan to viewers outside of Taiwan. If ever this will materialize, local Jerry fans need not have to be surprised at all by the move. If the producers of Taiwan's pop idol shows have done this to SET dramas before, it can do so with the others.

Yan Cheng Xu (Jerry) attended yesterday's The Hospital Press Conference, and even surprisingly started some green jokes! Reporters asked directly, " Will the organ part with the tumor be shown?" He naughtily spoke and dropped a hint, " Are you speaking of Dai Bao Ge's (Leon Dai) organ?" Leon Dai (Bao Ge) heard it and shifted to strike back in a green tune, " The TV screen is very small, it would probably shrink down!" and Jerry added that the all the people will already turn on! Surprisingly, he again illicitly fought back, ".... Do you have that? (pointing to the erection)" and looked at how long it was, that brought laughter of everyone!

This week, The Hospital prepares for the Asian-wide Charity Preview Meet at the International Conference Center. Yesterday. Director Cai Yue Xun, Scriptwiter and author Hong Wen Yong, Jerry, Dai Bao and Janine Zhang had a tea party. In the process, Jerry and Dai Bao were continously whispering at each other's ears, and intentionally held arms with each other in the photo-taking. Jerry also revealed that after the shooting ended, both of them continued to get in touch, "He also ofen asks me go to his small tree house!"

Super high and clever talking like beads

Jerry was known to be shy and conservative. Now at the Press Conference, he let the people know that he has matured, with naughty and clever talks like a bead. During the interview, he had rich expressions - one with expressionless sighs, while in another he was in interferring talks. Taking the organ to start his green jokes, even if he finally stressed out, "It's nothing. I'm just talking nonsense." However, he felt very high. He mentioned that Dai Bao and Yan Jin Hua indeed had 4 intense bed scenes in the drama. He stike back again and interestingly pulled his leg back, " No wonder he said that he gained something in there!"

Jerry initially recommended Fei Xiang to Director Cai to act as the rival lover. Tasting the bitter fruit, he modestly admitted that his own charms has no match with Fei Xiang. At first, when fans used to visit him at the set, he was finally at the helm of seeing all the news circling around, so he rushed in to support a rare Fei Xiang interview. He jokes, " Seeing Fei Xiang's face, my face simply looks like his butt!"

Excerpts on his talks about Jerry:

1. Joining Jerry Jerry in this drama, what is your impression on him?

When in a scene he misunderstood a situation and confronted me, so many young actors can then be able to sink into agony. However, Jerry's character is very stable, and won't waver in anything. Moreover, in the filmings, he felt he has to go all out and work hard. so much so that it gives huge pressures to his own self. I can definitely tell that among the Bai Ta cast, he is the most hardworking. In our location scenes, I can feel he wants to use up every means to portray his own role.

2. If you'll ask Jerry to act in your movie, what conditions will your propose to him?

First of all, what is his purpose in acting in my movie? Is it to have a bigger name or to complete his own deficiencies? I can let him seriously consider on these points. It is not a question of whether it is good or not, but, I must know what he wants to achieve the most. More importantly, when he would consciously goes to influence many people, what must he give them? When we were filming Bai Ta, I found out that that he always considered this issue in acting out a role. So if he will act in my movie, he must first succeed in finding out what he wants at the moment, his career path.

3. Now in your joint project, how would you assess Jerry's progress?

I didnt underestimated him before. At least he had already achieved what other artists had not been able to do. In other words, his potentials are already coming out. This would ascertain him as the most outstanding among the young artists. In addition, he seeks his own way out. When I was not yet so familiar with Jerry, I heard people saying that Jerry is actually not very pleased with his own position, so I was a bit resentful for his current situation. But after we got along, I found him very candid to talk to, and neither does he hides anything, a very open young man. Compared to those people who do not dare to look at their own insufficiencies, Jerry is a very promising child. He does not gloss over and hides, and has the courage to correct and look upon his inadequacies. This is one of the big factors for his success, and also one of my most admired impression on him.

Last night, CTV has officially announced an August 15 8PM airdate of Jerry Yan's highly anticipated drama of the season "The Hospital".

This means that the series will be shown every night from Monday to Friday. A first in a long long while that a pop idol series will be placed on this auspicious time slot.

This also means that Jerry fans will get a nightly dose of his charm, and his acting talent. Guaranteed to make many of his fans faint.

"The Hospital". This coming August 15 and every Monday-Friday night at 8PM.
