‘METEOR GARDEN’ STILL RATES HIGH
WHO would have thought that the F4 series, “Meteor Garden,” will still rate very high when it was already shown twice on ABS-CBN? Apparently, the fans of Jerry Yan and company have not gotten tired of Dao Ming Su and San Cai so they’re now watching the series all over again, this time on GMA-7. It’s rating a very high 24 to 26 plus percent everyday at 6 p.m., even clobbering ABS-CBN’s “May Minamahal” in Sine Serye which was on its last week and yet, one day, rated only 8 percent. Starting Monday, Sine Serye will feature “Natutulog Ba ang Diyos” starring Roxanne Guinoo. Will she be able to put up a good fight against the F4? Let’s wait and see.

Last Thursday night (6/28), Yan Cheng Xu (Jerry) was spotted by people at the Da Jia Riverbank Park Basketball court together with friends for a bull fight, lasting for 4 hours, with no one giving up until early dawn. Compared to Yang Zong Wei in " Yan Zhu Yun Qiu" who didn't even reached one hour play the other day, these idols are the identically famous yet very much different in strength and endurance.

last Thursday (6/28), a man with excellent physical strength.
Together with friends on a 3-on-3 bull match, Jerry appeared to the public again since his last appearance two months ago during the Tourism Bureau endorsement event. He seemed to appear with stronger arm muscles when he wore that sleeveless shirt. Seeing Jerry running over the entire court, until the early dawn on the 29th, and friends reminded him that "It's already after 12 midnight. you had been playing for 4 hours!" He just started to yawn and said." Oh? Is it really after 12?" When he turned back and saw his friend already with a sore leg, only then he agreed to end the game.

Praises Zong Wei's strong singing voice
Jerry's agent Mao Liang smiled, "It was raining hard for several days, and he got rather stuffy." Actually, after Jerry definitely would be acting in "Basketball Fire," people would assume he is capably stronger. Recently, his old foot injury reappeared, so he he would still continue a foot therapy. As it is very hard to have rainless night, he immediately followed his calling and met with friends to practice basketball. His non-showbiz friends immediately hurried down to meet him, who just came off from work still clad in shirts, pants and leather shoes.
Jerry is recently all-crazy about Basketball. His originally planned Star Jerry Fans Meeting on August will then use a basketball competition to hold it. His agent said, " It's not easy to find a venue which can accommodate as much as 3000 fans so it would be postponed to be held on October instead."
Lately, the newly-famous Yang Zong Wei's career path is very much following Jerry's. Both are equally aloof with the media, and after getting famous, non-stop negative news were reported on them. Asked Jerry's comment on him, he encouraged Yang Zong Wei: "His singing voice is very strong, I wish he could take a step in the international arena."
