Some pointers on the 5 newspapers:
1. Apple Daily focused on the dirty talk with Jerry Yan, although it was quite funny, I don't see the point of publishing it without even talking about The Hospital itself. Summary of that paragraph is that the reporter asked if THE HOSPITAL will include the "Tumor operation scene" then Jerry answered: "Are you talking about Da BAo's tumor?" then Leon Dai Answered: "It won't fit the screen" then Jerry answered: "Is it...?" *Sorry I can't explain but it's a green joke* and a humorous one! Ang kulet pramis!
2. When asked about LZL, Jerry Yan didn't respond but turned to Leon Dai and puts his hand on his waist, then he told Leon Dai: "Wrap your arms here" Then Leon Dai reluctantly wrapped his arms around it, both playing "brokeback"... hahaha... ang kulet!
3. Jerry also mentioned that he and Leon Dai also spend time like "men's talk", he jokingly replied that he usually went to Leon Dai's wooden house... then one reporter said: "didn't you spend the night there?"
4. Jerry also said that he wouldn't mind being compared with Leon Dai and he liked being compared and felt proud about it. Because it would give him a chance to learn more and improve. He also mentioned that he became mature with his role in The Hospital, he felt that he aged another 10 years because of the intensity of this series. He wished for a project with a Comedy concept to be able to experience a lighter mood on the set.
5. There's one newspaper (Min Sheng Bao) which concluded the love affair of Jerry Yan and LZL, then after I read the other newspaper, I saw how twisted that article was because the reporter just got a line from what jerry said about not to insist an affair that cannot be continued...and there were things that went in the way during those times... through these words, this newspaper concluded the love affair that both of them were in love but is history.
When I read the other newspaper (United Daily News), Jerry was discussing the shooting of The Hospital depresses him and about the betrayal of Guan Xin with Su Yi Hua, he said: "It's really difficult while in the middle of filming, there were things that went in the way during those times, while acting as Su Yi Hua, I felt that many of his sad experiences are similar to mine." Before, he was also betrayed and he expressed: " I was really hurt, and I tried to bring it back, but then I understood that you cannot continue insisting a love affair."
6. Acting along with Leon Dai, Jerry expressed: "Having to act with Leon Dai, his charisma is unbeatable, many of the girls I met says he's a very good artist, I was really scared, but I learned a lot from him." Then Jerry expressed that he is afraid of injection and blood, he also said that when he was small, his dad used to inject him when he was sick, so it made him scared.
7. Leon Dai's role in this series is the bad guy, he has an affair with Yang Jin Hua, some intimate scenes for both are the ones on the table, inside the car and inside the hotel's couch and floor, Yang Jin Hua even said that she fell in love with him at once! Jerry Yan teased Leon Dai and said: "That is the reason why Da Bao Ge (Leon Dai) accepted this role, you gained a lot didn't you?" Leon Dai kept his smile and said that Jerry's role only talked about a simple love affair, he is responsible for the rated and dangerous love affair lah!
8. Zhang Jun Ning and Jerry Yan are not that close outside filming The Hospital, but when the "kissing scene" was shot, Zhang Jun Ning revealed that she felt that Jerry's a very romantic guy, this surprised Jerry and said: "Really?" (whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa... really!!!)
9. Jerry's in a good mood while being interviewed, he even joked around and told another story about a staff, he overheard this staff say that when he puts his face beside Fei Xiang, he would look like a butt, so from then on, Jerry got used to calling that staff--"the butt".
10. Sometimes while filming, Leon and Jerry would be like children playing around that sometimes the staffs would be so surprised on what they are doing.
That's most of what I remembered in those newspapers.
