credit to the heaven sent hermaning of onlyjerry some parts to mikayla
hermaning : the 2 hosts were xiao yan jie (female, wearing long
black n white skirt, black top) n ah liang (male wearing red with
white blazer)....clips relating to some mg scenes were shown. one of
them was dms dancing in the hair saloon. xyj asked jy whether he
still remember the dance which dms did in the hair saloon during mg.
jy seemed unsure. then xyj asked jy if vanness were to stand infront
of him n repeat tat dance, wud jy be able to follow standing behind
him. jy said yes...then xyj indicated there was someone behind the
closed door. jy realized wats up n he tried to get himself off the
hook by quickly clarifying to xyj tat he meant if vanness appears
wearing short ??? then jy will follow vanness to dance. finally
vanness appeared, he came running out towards jy like a little boy n
knocked into jy, so cute....xyj jokingly said to vanness tat he
seemed to have much less hair now. vanness told tat to perform tat
dance, the buttocks mus stick out n he showed how. since they were
all laughing so much, they cud only do a little part of the start of
the dance. vanness joked tat he only taught jy a little bit n jy
added the rest of the dance steps by himself. jy was quick to refute
wat vanness said.
liu gen hong mentioned tat jy has told him he liks to dance. zz
invited liu to the first f4 concert. he saw someone dancing for long
time on the stage. he imitated jy's dance steps in a funny way.
once, both vanness n jy were talking to each other on the phone,
talked until both of them cried. jy said he was surprised tat
vanness cried bcos everyday vanness seem to be a happy n active
person. liu gen hong, sitting in the panel of guests, joked tat
knowing jy's character, jy probably cried bcos jy was tinking of how
expensive the phone bill was going to be! jy said it was vanness
calling him, not the other way around, meaning to say vanness wud be
the one footing the bill. xjy said the 2 guys talked for 2 hours.
it seemed tat vanness was then in america calling jy in tw. at first
vanness claimed he dont remember tis at all but when he asked jy wat
was it abt, jy said it was abt 'chang pian' (albums), then vanness
remembered.
jy said he has a queer habit. no matter how well he knows a person,
the next morning, after waking up n going to work he will lik tis....
(lik wat? gee! u know jy style of talking. he is not articulate n
he can jus break off his sentence lik tat, leaving u to guess wat on
earth is he trying to say. ok! vanness came to his rescue here...)
vanness told of the first time he came to know jy. no matter how
well jy knows u, the next time he meets u, he can treat u as tho he
does not realli know u tat well. vanness joked tat tis habit of jy
is lik a kind of illness. u can talk to him lik an old friend today
but the next day u see him, u feel lik u r talking to a different
person. the only way to cure tis type of illness is to follow jy
home, sleep beside him n wake up together with him..... (i hope u get
vanness way of joking!).
pple who knows jy agrees tat he is very slow to warm up to a person.
jy said at the start of the filming of mg, he wud not talk much to
the rest. usually be by himself studying the script. when he is not
acquainted with a person, he will try not to talk too much to tat
person. each time during shooting, zz, vanness, da s n ging he wud
be over there playing together.
tis led xyj to speak of her meetings with jy. she said during the
promo of mg, was the first time she saw him, u will see tis guy
walked quietly by, with his backpack, to the seat n sat down n there
was an air of 'yu yue??' around him. she tot to herself tis guy is
very tired. vanness wud usually greet her in a friendly manner, zz
wud address her mumbling, while ken she knows quite well bcos ken has
worked in happy sunday b4. the 2nd time she saw jy, she tot tis guy
is feeling sick. the 3rd time she saw jy, she wondered wat is the
matter with tis guy? the 4th time, she wondered if anyone owes him
money? later on she realizes tat actualli jy is very slow to warm up.
(wah, so much more was said in jus tis segment of jy n
vanness...approx 12 mins...have left out some bcos din quite
comprehend all tat was said.)

after vanness took his seat, the next special guest was a female
model friend of jy (no pic link avail). her name is ms wang? or ms
yang? or ms liang?, i cud not make it out. jy recognized her when
she joined him. she talked abt the 'quarrel' between her n jy which
happened a long time ago. it was so long ago tat she too has 4gotten
abt it until now. jy was very puzzled bcos he has absolutely no
recollection of it. she laughed n pointed a finger at jy, saying he
has 4gotten it. she then clarified maybe she shd not described it as
a 'quarrel'. remember the time when they went singing n he was
criticizing her. she was tinking to herself, i m a girl n here is
tis big man talking n talking abt (or at?) her. she felt very angry
then. at tat time her face expression changed n then jy cud see tat
she was angry n so he stopped talking n decided not to talk to her
anymore. jy still cant recall tis incident at all. infact jy said
his impression of her is something else. he tinks well of her. at
tat time he was new to modelling n she was helping him. he finds tat
she is a 'chi zer?' person. only tat he has not said so to her b4.
she went on to say tat the first time she saw jy, he was working in a
restaurent. he was wearing all black...all tight fitting! at tat
time her feeling was tat he looked a bit 'soong soong?'. later when
she heard him speak, he is actualli quite gentle. she was with a
friend n he was nice to her n spoke gently, asking 'wat drink wud u
lik to have? wud u lik to sit over there?
xyj : actualli, i tink jy most powerful...he has a kind of beauty.
he may seem to not want to talk to u but his eyes will reveal tat he
very much desire to talk to u. his eye expression is very strange.
tis is something tat we can spend a lifetime n not be able to learn
it!
the model friend agreed with xyj abt his eye expressions.
xyj said jy, when he was a model, has filmed many ads. they showed 3
of them. ad for darlie toothpaste (blue lan zheng loong was also in
tis one), ad for chewing gum n another ad. see the link

(hermaning : wat is tis ad all abt? at the end of the ad we hear a
man says "a woman's age shd not be written on her face" while jy
looks on with his mouth slightly agape).
those watching were surprised bcos in those days jy looked so
different, even liu gen hong commented he cud not recognize jy in the
ads. xyj concluded tats y jy is an artiste bcos when he is dressed n
made up differently, he can convey not the same look. (i tink it all
points to versatility.)
xyj invited both jy n the female model friend to shake hands
(something lik making up after wat happened so long ago).
hermaning : the next guest will tell us a lot more abt jy. very
interesting. tis guest is considered one of jy's 'gui ren' (someone
specially sent by the gods? to help another in life). jus cant
remember the english equivalent to 'gui ren' at the moment.

That's Ms. Yang, ken's previous girl friend. She has known
Jerry when Jerry still worked as a bartendar and model at the same
time. I really don't know why she was invited. Although she has
known him for long, they did not have any contact after
the "incident" which was so long ago, and they are not close at all.
I think all the guests have some good connection with Jerry except
Ms. Yang and San Cai mom.

previously i wrote tat the 3rd guest is one of jy's 'gui ren' but i
made a mistake....it was liu gen hong, the one who acted as the thief
who stole the meteor ring in mg2.

liu gen hong is the one on vanness' left.
liu gen hong said jy is a 'little white rabbit' (xiao bai tu). he
knew zz first n met up with him after the day's filming of "poor
prince" to go singing. tat time, vanness n ken came too but not jy.
so he tot, oh! those rumours abt jy r true. jy mus be a (gu mao?).
he is probably not a nice person. newspaper wrote tat during
filming, things happened n workers dont lik him. my friends asked if
i was going to film mg n i said i have a part where i fought with
jy. i said when i am there, if i see such happenings, i will surely
teach him a good lesson. but it was jy, who on his own accord,
walked up to lgh, shook his hands, chitchat with him n asked him abt
exercise (or was it body building?) matter. jy was jus the opposite
of wat lgh have heard abt him thru the rumours. so lgh tot tis
person is not so bad n so both agreed to meet up n play ??, play
basketball.
y was jy nice to lgh?
jy said the feeling he gave me was a good one. i m the type tat if a
person is polite to me, i will return his politeness. but if someone
gives me the feeling of discomfort, i may.....n i m the type who dont
know much, i will not know...dui ah dui ah. zz has ever told jy abt
lgh n jy knew tat lgh cares a lot for jay chou even b4 jay bcame
famous n was good to jay n jy feels tat it is very hard to find such
type of friends. lgh was surprised n said such words he have nvr
heard from the mouth of jy b4.
lgh remembered the first time they went out to play ?? ball n since
he has seen jy in the drama b4, he believed he will recognize jy when
he sees him but when jy was walking towards him, he cud not believe
tis guy cud be jy bcos tis guy came on his motorbike, had his helmet
on, wore a pair of shorts n wore a pair of slippers. his tshirt was
a bit torn. u jus cant imagine jy has come. lgh said : i m usually
the type who dont realli bother abt how i look when i go out but he
was even more not bothered than i! lgh continued to describe jy's
overall appearance in a hilarious manner. jy said he did notice tat
lgh's face expression was a bit strange, the way he looked at jy.
lgh went on to say by tat time, mg has already been shown n was very
popular n one wud expect jy to at least wear a hat, try to disguise
himself so tat he cant be recognized when he goes out. so his
appearance was....actualli no one recognized him. only when we were
abt to leave, those beside us started to wonder, is tis not yan cheng
xu? in fact those pple recognized me more!
jy said one of the things he hate most is having to decide wat to
wear when he wants to leave the house. usually wat he sees on the ??
he will simply jus take n wear.
lgh talked abt the 2nd time they met to play basketball. he said he
wanted to introduce jay to jy. lgh did tell jay b4hand tat he was
going to introduce jy to jay. jay's reaction was very funni. jay's
reaction : hmmm...tsk! will it be "ne ke"....(hahaha...its very
funni. if u dont understand chinese, u wont be able to grasp the
meaning of 'ne ke' n i m powerless to tell u exactly wat r all the
connotations tat lie behind 'ne ke', the way jay used it!) lgh tried
to explain to jay, no it wont be. tat time jay has jus returned from
overseas. so they had a good game. lgh then went on to describe
jy's dressing once again, mostly saying the clothes tat jy wore were
jus too old n looks queer. even jay noticed n spoke to lgh
privately : i tink jy very seldom buy clothes. lgh then asked jy
whether jy has many ?? pants. lgh said he will give some to jy. if
lgh tells pple tat he has given ?? pants to jy, pple wont believe.
they will say, pls lah, jy is more popular than u.
then jy volunteered some info abt a laughable habit of his. whenever
he goes to buy food from the stalls, wearing his helmet (so tat he
wont be recognizable) he waits until the stallholder is not looking n
he will pinch a pair of chopsticks n ??. jy now tinking back also
finds his behaviour funni to laugh at. xyj joked tat the next time
the stallholder will tell him, let me give u a pair of chopsticks
first! jy said he does not bring such things back from the
restaurent bcos the reservation is made using his name.
lgh commented tat jy is not the type to tell u tat he was once very
poor, abt his home life, so out of curiosity, lgh asked zz n others n
then he understood abt jy's past.

not sure of the proper spelling of his name, he was guest # 4. in
tis show, xiao yan jie (xyj), after listening to his attempts to help
jy make a break thru in showbiz, said csh can be considered to be one
of jy's benefactors. csh was also the one responsible for the
concert costumes/images of fantasy4ever.
xyj to jy : he (csh) said if u did not bcom an artiste, u can be
a 'xing jing??'. tis is a nice way of saying tat u lik to question a
lot.
xjy to csh : is tat correct? he has many questions?
csh : actualli there was a period of time when he wud constantly
come to my house to 'dian teng?' 'dian teng?' is a prog (something
abt xin lin fu tao?). so sometimes i m afraid. lets say if today
some things happened at work, then i tink to myself, i m finished, my
whole nite wud be gone.....tat nite...ting! ting! he wud wear his
helmet, his pair of shorts n slippers. tat pair of slippers is those
$10 type.
lgh interjected : n have worn until very old
csh : actualli b4 he comes to my house i will be feeling very
anxious bcos opposite is a piece of empty space n i was afraid there
will be paparazzi but since he came dressed lik tat there was no need
for me to draw the curtains. pple will tink tat some kind of
exercise...worker has come to my home.
xyj : actualli how did the two of u realli first meet?
jy : a friend recommended us n at tat time i was working as a
bartender in a pub
xyj : wearing tight fitting clothing....
jy : no...no....
csh : i did specially go to bar to see him
xyj to csh : u specially went to the bar to see him? y did u go to
see him?
csh : no reason y...i went to the pub to see him bcos i heard from
pple tat there was a very shuai one n asked me to go n look. so i
went to take a look. tat time i was in charge of a record co. n we
were looking for new talents. so i went there n i saw someone who
was wearing all black but it was not tight fitting bcos at tat time
it was working hours. if i had seen someone in tight fitting
clothes, i wud not have acknowledged him (laughed). when i saw him,
he had a earphone in his ear n i was tinking to myself....bcos it was
in the afternoon....its working time, still listening to music, wat
is he up to, not serious. i looked n i saw english words. he was
listening to english language tapes. i dont know if he was gay* or
pretending to give me the impression tat he is someone of high std. i
dont know. eh, he was realli trying to learn english.

csh : so later, we went to ktv (karaoke tv) lounge to listen to
music bcos we in the recording biz mus listen to the voice. i was
tinking shuai until so much, dont try to use dimple to fool me! so
at the ktv he was very shuai n selected songs...i asked him to choose
the songs. he was there, very quietly choosing many songs...very
formidable...alex to!...shd be quite good. but when he started to
sing, aiyoh! so shuai but his voice was so difficult to listen to!
everyone was laughing n jy felt so embarrassed he squat down.
then csh said something (not sure exactly wat he said) abt the
microphone, abt the difference between jy's hair n jy's voice....
csh : i tink at tat time he did not realize it...he felt tat the
louder he sings, the more attention he will get. i was tinking he is
very shuai but once u hear him sing, he's finished, wat can be done?
lgh joked : better tat he finds work in a coffee shop
csh : i was tinking with tat kind of voice, the company will
collapse. (he had a sentence here which i din understand). i
remember when i was working in warner n tat time i was working with
aaron kwok n sammi cheng
xyj to jy : did u go n see them also?
jy indicated to allow csh to continue to speak...
csh : lets talk first abt aaron bcos myself n aaron n ? xiao mei,
we cud get along well. ??????? tat time the regulations were
strict. only i n high ranking persons cud enter the room (i tink
referring to dressing room) while the others have to remain
outside.....so tat time i had to go inspect the costumes n i was
tinking at tat time the co. did not have any special plans n the
boss .....let xiao mei see him (jy) n see if he can be signed on to
hk, so try to 'shove' him in(to the room)...so he was 'shoved' in n
tat time aaron was behaving 'da la la' (very relaxed?) n since there
werent realli anyone around, he stripped to his boxer shorts, sat on
the chair n talked to us. xiao mei was at the side n we were talking
abt work. n i tink tat day, he (jy) was too low profile - he din
want to talk, din want to raise his head, din want to reveal his
dimple - u know tat kind of expression n he left the room, he was
very 'kin?'...u know wat i mean?
jy : i have eaten the leftovers of aaron's steamboat
csh : how was it? very nice to eat?
jy : nice to eat...nice to eat
csh : i was the one who asked him to come over n eat
then they started to talk some abt how popular aaron kwok was at the
time. soon, csh continued his story...
csh : oh no, xiao mei din notice him, aaron also din notice him. i
was tinking which were his problematic areas?
xyj : hai, u were 'zheng xin lian ku' (chinese idiom, guessing it
means altho very sincere, tried hard but no results?)
csh : the second time was sammi cheng. i tink we also entered her
room n tat day we were seriously discussing ??? while he stood at the
side n still no one noticed him! i have failed again!
xyj to jy : so later on during filming did u tell sammi abt tis?
jy : no, i dare not, i totally dare not
jy said he ever followed csh to japan to help with their
clothes/costumes.
then they talked abt the past mvs of jy. they showed one of the
mv, 'shui suo wo bu cai hu' ('who says i dont care'). jy explained
tat at first, the mv was meant for another song but later they used
tis mv for 'shui suo wo bu cai hu'
after showing some scenes from the mv,
xyj : he (jy) mus have been 10+ ba? still a child, rite or not?
now lets return to the time (xyj used her hands to show as tho they
were going back on the time track) to when there was a competition
for shuai guys. then they showed scenes of jy taking part in a male
contest which we have come to know as a competition organized by uno
(strange, i tot tis competition took place in 1998 but on the screen,
the year shown was 1989! it cant be 1989 bcos jy wud have been only
12.)
xyj : did u have a showbiz name? liao...liao...
jy : tat time?

jy : rite, for tat show have to use showbiz name
csh : real name ah! (jy smiled embarrassingly bcos he made a
mistake)

csh : he raised his eyebrows at me, cannot say....
xyj : actualli the first time i saw jy was at an award show
jy : u realli can remember?
xyj : dont joke, y cant i remember 2 guys....
jy : myself n lan zheng long...
xyj : ...who sat in the wrong seats, asked them to go out n they
refuse to go out, they have to bring the mikes to the winners of the
awards n sometimes the winners dont know whether to accept the trophy
or the mike first n they have to stand there, not knowing wat to
do....
(for tis part, xyj acted a bit more as she spoke so i put in some
words for her!)
then they showed a clip of jy handing the microphone to the female
winner of an award. after tat xyj imitated the way he handed the mike
to the winner. wang jue (actress who acted as sc's mum)
exclaimed 'very exciting'! lgh said jy knew tat when the award
winner was receiving her prize, at tat time he will be caught on foto
also so he purposely timed it to hand the mike to her n the winner
mus be tinking which one shd she accept? the mike or the....?

actualli mg is not jy's first drama. he has acted in ma la xian si
xyj to csh : at tat time did u work hard.......?
csh : oh during tat time when he went to film, i was saying we have
tried so many times, no....lets wait a period of time, we can start
again n also since during tat time, i was busy with album work
3 scenes from ma la xian si (i tink from 3 different eps) were shown
n after tat they talked a bit more, something abt jy is a true
artiste? (not sure)
xyj to jy : actualli at tis time u have to realli thank him (csh)

xyj : how, bcos of wanting to make u known, he tried so hard to
find ways n means for u to break thru (i tink tats wat was said!)

kind hearted person n he is one who values relationship(s) bcos lets
say i told him tat i dont want to work with him....actualli all those
times tat i work with him, he has not lost his temper or scolded me

n scolded me, dare not scold in front of me. bcos i pressed my ears

to add to wat has been written already....
she is also a ms lin! acc to her, they were sitting at the back of
some kind of a bus n jus having fun during the splashing part. xyj
remarked tat jy's dream of being a star has its beginning with aaron
kwok. jy's fate somehow has something to do with aaron - from the
time of splashing water on the face, to aaron's boxer shorts, to
eating aaron's steamboat until the pepsi advert. aaron's (splash
water) advert was in the year 1990 (i tink tis is acc to the
modern 'gregorian' calendar, no need to add 11 ba?). aaron's advert
was replayed. jy asked who was the one who provided tis piece of
info bcos he claims he does not remember anything. ms lin softly
replied, 'i'. they then posted another pic of jy in his middle
school years on the screen n commented jy looked very much lik a
young aaron kwok. (hermaning : i tink jy was abt 13?14?15? in tis
pic.) wang jue (remember her?) kept saying how adorable...how
adorable, same with xyj. from tis pic, xyj guessed tat jy's home
telephone mus have been ringing nonstop (or did she mean tat there
mus have been so many incoming calls tat the tel line constantly went
dead due to overload?). then follow the pic of a skinny jy wearing
blue with water running down his face. it was ms lin who said tat at
tis age, jy already put a lot of emphasis/importance on his image.
it was xyj who mentioned abt the 'gui mao' part. finally, a pic of
jy n aaron (both with water splashed on their faces) side by side for
comparison.

the guy is jy's primary classmate n is called yu pin. at first jy
cud not recognize him at all so a very young pic of yu pin was shown
on the screen n then jy kinda remembered. jy commended xyj, how
formidable, u can still find him!

yp : at tat time...lets look at the pic, his appearance is a lot

xyj starts to flip the pages, half pressing her lips together lik
trying to stifle her smile n she began to read from one of the pages.
xyj : when i tink of u, when i miss u, i will leave u....
she paused, laughed n said, tis sounds lik the words of a song...then
she continued to read
xyj : dont let the tot tat we may be separated prevent us from
another heart to heart meeting...
they were surprised tat at such a young age, can already write until
lik tat but later a liang asked jy n jy said he copied the wordings.
xyj continued to read : tell u a secret, i lik u. do not 4get the
friendship between us. (later on, we see tat these words 'tell u a
secret, i lik u' was written near to the pic of a young girl n the
words were circled. it was signed off as, your junior, xiao zheng.)
xyj made fun of jy. she added verbally, 'nickname, yan ne ke'
(remember wat jay chou said abt jy being 'ne ke'?)
the msgs were written when jy's crush had completed the 6th year of
schooling but remember jy was slightly younger than her.
xyj to jy : how do u tink i manage to get tis book? (oh oh, leading
to something here.)
jy : hah...? may i go to the washroom? (jy feeling some thing is
coming up)
xyj : do u remember how she looks lik?
jy (starting to feel embarrassed, covered his mouth, laugh a little
to release some tension) : a little vaguely...

cute pic of a sweet little girl, wearing specs, long hair n in a pose
was shown on the screen. xyj immediately described her as kawaii ne
(a jap phrase meaning something lik cute)

yp : she is actually one of our classmate's sister
xyj to jy : so u went to your classmate's house n came to know his
sister, rite or not?
jy : one day i went to the classmate house to play. we went up to
the rooftop n his sister suddenly appeared (or did she crawl out from
somewhere, not sure of the translation here)
xyj imitated the little girl's pose.
xyj : u found her very lovable, dui bu dui?
jy : its not abt lovable or not, the feeling was very 'ling zi?'
(special feeling as mikayla said) it was a feeling...a feeling...

jy : not realli, tat time i was tinking she was very good to look
at. tat was how it was at tat time.
bcos jy did not admit tat he was in lov with the girl, xyj opened the
book again n re-read 'tell u a secret, i lik u' n written in
bracket, "its true".....jy was embarrassed again n asked shd they
continue taping the show!

wah...wud u believe tat jy was a romeo during his high school days?
yet tis classmate of his has also described jy as an extremely shy
guy! how abt tat - an extremely shy romeo! wat we now know abt jy n
his ice maiden has all the ingredients of an idol drama. its the
stuff tat we read in romance novels n get to watch in a tv idol
drama. jy was sporty, tall, dark n handsome (albeit a bit skinny) n
was considered the school's stud. whether he knew it or not, he did
not indicate. sounds familiar eh....romeo of the school who cud have
any girl he wanted, who romanced many of them but the only one whom
he realli fell for remain out of reach! he jus cud not pluck up the
courage to reveal his true feelings to her n she remained oblivious
to his feelings until happy sunday (broadcasted on cts tw on 5 sep

did not look at her. it took him quite a while b4 he mustered up
enuf courage to....ms wang greeted xyj n everybody. she is realli
very softspoken n as they say, very cool n a bit shy too.
wang jue was saying so loudly : jy is blushing!
tats when jy looked at her! i cant describe to u how he did it. pls

xyj walked closer to jy n whispered to him : she wears teeth braces
but she has a good body figure n....

sort of using her as a barrier/shield but at the same time he badly
