Caught many times by the paparazzi going out with Lin
Zhi Ling (LZL),
Jerry Yan who was promoting his solo ablum on 29 July
was asked if he
and LZL are an item. And Jerry did not say NO, he just
said that they
have been friends since his modeling days and he gave
an impresssion
that it could be possible that they might develop
their relationship
into something further.
Releasing his album for the 1st time, Jerry's 1st
interview was at
HitFM. It has been quite sometime since his last media
interview and
Jerry seems to be in a good mood. He even admitted a
few of his
personal things: he 'defected' army; his 1st love and
1st kiss was
with a senior girl in high school. When the reporters
touched on
sensitive issues, he did not answer as usual but joked
instead and
the there were much laughter throughout the interview.
Spotted frequently by the media hanging out with
Taiwan's top model
LZL, it's hard not to suspect that they are not
boyfriend and
girlfriend. Although Jerry did not say NO but he
didn't say YES
either, he merely said that they are friends but no
one knows about
the future. As for LZL, Jerry is happy that she has
become the pet of
the media. He even gave her the thumps up, praising
her skills in
dealing with the paparazzi. He also disclosed that LZL
has shared her
expericences with him hence he learnt alot from her.
Jerry's 1st solo album took more than 3 years to
record and the
process was not smooth sailing. It even caused much
misunderstandings
and created quite a number of rumours. However, Jerry
declared that
he was never dejected and has never given up. "I was
fortunate to
have many friends who helped me through those
obstacles." he quibbed.
Through this virgin album, Jerry hopes that his fans
will get to hear
his sincerity and courage. He mentioned that in the
previous F4 group
album, he gave himself 20 points and he graded himself
60 points for
his solo album.
His past soured relationship with the media brought
many
misunderstandings. Jerry recalled that he was like a
village boy
trying out his niche in show business and the pressure
he suffered
from all angles made him grow up. Shooting his first
movie in Hong
Kong with Andy Lau and Sammi Cheng, he learnt from
them to be
professional in his attitude and cautious with his
words. From this
album promo, we saw a more happy and a more confident
Bao Long.
